What do you think of rap music these days?
It's really pretty weak, because most good rappers made their money, drugs isn't a big deal anymore, and they're not living in gangs anymore. Today's rap is mainstream, mellow, and lacks good story skills. Back in the gang days, rappers in the main stream rapped like you hear in the underground today. They had real problems people could relate to. I guess when there's no violence, and you're not in poverty anymore, it's difficult to rap about anything that most would consider important.
Rap sucks. I used to listen to it a little bit but not anymore. I can't really stand that kind of music. I like to listen to Alternative Rock now!!!
